Description

In Windows 10, the Start Menu item for Quassel does not show up in the Start Menu, despite existing in the Quassel Start Menu folder on disk. The Quassel Core and Quassel Client shortcuts however show up in the Start Menu.

This is a Windows 8 and newer issue. See here for more info: https://devblogs.microsoft.com/oldnewthing/20190319-00/?p=102342

Microsoft is hiding shortcuts that it deems "redundant". Which is fine and dandy (the Uninstaller shortcut actually gets hidden in my testing), but the fact that the all-in-one program shortcut is also hidden is problematic for users with a full installation.

I'm looking to see if there's some way to either opt out of this for certain shortcuts, or to make Windows realize that it is not a redundant shortcut.
